Hi everyone! Will sleeping on my back help get rid of wrinkles? I want to find a way to prevent wrinkles naturally. I usually sleep on my side and have noticed wrinkles around my eyes starting to creep in. It's especially worst in the morning when I wake up. Then the wrinkles slowly start to go away as I wake up. I'm thinking that sleeping on my side and stomach is causing facial wrinkles. So, if I sleep on my back back help prevent premature wrinkles? Thank you!
Hi Kendra great question! Sleeping on your side and stomach does cause premature wrinkles on the face. To help prevent wrinkles / aging of the face you should sleep on your back.
The AAD (American Academy of Dermatology) says that sleeping on your stomach and side will cause increased wrinkles on your chin and cheek bone. Also, it will give you the furrowed brow look.
You don't want to be forced to consider Botox! Your better off taking the natural preventions.
