Homemade Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza


° 1 c Sugar
° 2 sachets of dry baker’s yeast
° 24 cl of water
° 500 grams of flour
°3 tbsp. to s. Tomato paste
°Mozzarella cheese 600g
°200 grams of bacon
° 4 garlic cloves
° 2 onions
° 1 c. to s. spices
° 0.5 tsp. to s. basil
° 2 can peel and chop tomato


Pour flour to bowl. Making well. In bowl, blend water with yeast // sugar. Pour this mix into center of flour and mix. Letting it rise for an 1h in shelter.
Grated 400g cheese & set apart in bowl. Cutting rest to thin slices. Place the bacon in a dry bowl and reserve the bacon, making sure to drain it.
In a saucepan, put 2 tablespoons of olive oil, add chopped onions and garlic, crushed with sweat. Add tomato paste and tomato puree.
Roll out the pizza dough with a rolling pin and place it on a pie tray high enough. Baking for 11 min in an oven heated 180°C or T. 6.
Remove from the oven, arrange the mozzarella slices, add the bacon, then add the grated mozzarella. Add the herbs to the skillet, mix and pour the pizza on top. Sprinkling with grated cheese. Bake for 30 minutes in the oven.
